Headshots for ViacomCBS
Hired by ViacomCBS Entertainment, I was asked to produce a series of environmental headshots of their MTV team at their NYC Times Square office.
The client’s vision included utilizing their Times Square setting while balancing a creative professional aesthetic reflective of their individual personalities and simultaneously maintaining a sense of uniformity among a team of unique producers
Needing to photograph 60 employees over 3 days while being courteous of these producer’s busy schedules, we setup a outdoor studio on their 5th floor balcony that allowed for Times Square to subtly make itself present in the photograph while not distracting from the individual.
Broken into 15 minute intervals, each person received a quick touch up from hair and makeup before joining myself outside to be photographed. After photographing each subject, we’d quickly go through the photographs on a tethered computer allowing selects to be made moments after the photographs were taken. This expedited the postproduction and allowed for a quick turnaround of retouched photographs back to the client.
